So I made this last night and it is DEFINITELY missing something. For one, I am not sure I love it enough to make 6 more for the rest of my bridesmaids and two, it seems kind of… bland. Do you think adding some rhinestones or pearls to the center of the flowers and some sheer ribbon “fluffed out” at the bottom will make it pop more? Or will that be too much?
Should I just nix this idea and figure out a different bouquet option for myself and my girls?
Same picture just larger (Wewddingbee’s photo uploader is acting funny for me right now.)

Sorry Bees… until they can fix the issue with uploading photos I can’t think of another way to allow you guys to view them. Hopefully it will be corrected in a couple of hours.

Okay opinions and help please. What can I do to make this more appealing? Oh and MoH kinda vetoed it as is so i DEFINITELY need help.
These are the dresses my girls are wearing so the wedding definitely will be formal. Is this not formal enough?
my Maid/Matron of Honor in her dress. (Not in her size though.)
My Maid/Matron of Honor in the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. They will also be in plum in stead of this black…

I LOVE the bouquets! But you’re right, if the dresses are that formal, the bouquest should be too. What I’m doing is making flowers out of feathers. I’m using these tutorials: http://www.jewelboxballerina.com/category/shop/feather-flower-tutorials-products
I think that feather flowers may look more formal, but I’m not sure. You did a great job on the bouquet though! Super cute.

I think you could make them more formal by maybe adding a little sparkly to them? I dunno really — I think they’re cute!

In My Humble Opinion I think it looks a little stiff. If you could make it a little looser, it would look more natural.
I also think a few rhinestones would go a long way.

Maybe add some pearls to some of the flowers? Like on the fabric flowers on Mrs. Honey’s garter?
