Here’s the one I used and it has better photos than the save-on-crafts tutorial.

Also, I’ve used the May Arts ribbon and it’s REALLY high quality.  They’ll also send free samples of the ribbon you want.  Up to five ribbon samples.  Just send them an email with the info of the ribbon you want and they’ll mail it to you in a standard envelope for you to look at and figure out which one you want.  Takes ALL the guesswork out of figuring out if the ribbon on the screen will look the same when you get it in your hands.

There are tutorials on youtube as well. That’s where I got my instructions. Here is my DIY broach bouquet.

@40ishbride: Your bouquet is absolutely positively goreous! You make me want to make a brooch bouquet. How long did it take to you gather everything/make it?! Also, how many brooches did you use?

@ lmc183: Thank you so much. I loved it and received so many compliments on it. I used a variety of brooches/pins/earrings and they all came from family. Some were my moms, my grandmothers and my Mother-In-Law, I even have a blue butterfly necklace (something blue) that was my daughters. It meant so much to me because my mom had passed away and it felt like she was there in spirit. I even attached a picture in a locket of my mom and my husbands dad.I’m not sure how many I used but making the ribon roses with it filled up a lot of space. Also I made it smallish as I am very petite and didn’t want to overpower me.
