I don’t know any tutorials, but that’s a really cute idea! Could you get some plastic swizzle sticks that are used to stir drinks and then glue some ribbon on the ends? If you find something, please post! I want to see!

I’m making them right now! My living room is full of them. They’re super easy to make, although kind of a pain in the ass because they are tedious. I used this tutorial as a basis, but I found the ribbons were sliding off the sticks so I used a little hot glue to keep them on. Fiance is home as we speak putting the last ones together! Good luck!

*Edit* – It might help if I actually tell you how i did mine. I used yellow, orange and pewter ribbon. Grosgrain and satin in several different widths. I used 4 ribbons on each stick and I used those little shish-kabob sticks with the pointy parts cut off. I tied the four ribbons to the stick with a basic knot and pushed them all up to the top and put a dot of hot glue above and below to keep them from sliding around, and voila… instant ribbon wand.

Oh I love these and we are thinking about doing them but having people wave them as we walk down the aisle as Mr. & Mrs. since we probably won’t have a send off at the end of the reception.  I think a Bee did a post on one of these?
