@MrsBluth:  YES!

We have 2 cats; Pilgrim and Piper. We’ll call Pilgrim- Pilgeezy or bud. We’ll also call him Pilgrim, but in the John Wayne voice…because, hey, it’s Pilgrim.

Piper often gets called Pipes, or Piper Diaper (yea, not sure how this one came about, other than us just rhyming…lol).

And then of course, there’s jerkface and butthead when they’re doing something annoying (like laying on the ottoman when they know there’s not room for them, and then slowly stretching out so it knocks everything off….jerkface cats.)

neesh, Neeshanoo, fleabag, stinky, smelly, meowsef, meowsephine, meowmix, miss farts-alot (she does!), monkey, fur-face, scruffbag, toothless (as in ‘how to train your dragon’)

and then when me and hubs are talking about her, anything goes – we get quite descriptive! this is what i got text to me this morning…

DH “have you fed the foul smelling beast that lurkes under the bed?”  LOL!!!

AHH I love this thread, and all the nicknames!!

Our yellow lab’s real name is Zuzu Bounce… she goes by Zoo, zoo-ber-roo, zuzu-bee, Zoobes (rhymes with pubes!), Zoo-bee-doo, pretty girl, good girl, Zoo-ster, love butt, or miscellaneous other word vomit.

Banksy, our all black cat, is usually Banks or Bankster or smelly cat

Doc, our tuxedo black cat, is ‘El doctor gato’, Doctor Cat, Paging Doctor Cat, or As*hole. (He gets into EVERYTHING, we can’t even leave bread out bc he eats it)

I call the three of them together ‘The bologna club’ because they race to the refrigerator for bologna 🙂

This is Walter, the corgi-sheltie.  He has SO many nicknames, it’s crazy.  Walter Dog quickly became abbreviated as Wog, his most-used name.  Woggy, Woggy Doggy, Woggle, Dr. Walter Wogstein, Walter Wog the Precious Dog, Boo Boo, Walter Boo… it’s out of control.

This is Winnie the corgi.  She is known as Miss Winnifred, Winnifred Girl, Girl-dog, Winnie-Woss (because she is the boss), and most often, MoMo.

This is my boy Blue… (“your my boy Blue!” lol)

Aliases include: Blueberry, Blueberry Pie, Stinky (after he got sprayed by a skunk… it stuck), Blue Blue Ka Choo, baby boy…

This is Stoli:

Aliases: Stoli Bear, Stolinaya (like the vodka without the ch), handsome boy, big handsom

And this is Tuaca:

Aliases: Muffin, Muffalata, Tuaca Bomb, Munchkin, Tub-a-lub, Fatty, little man

We once had a cat named Tucker that had a whole round of nicknames that actually ended up sticking so we renamed him… First his nickname was Tucky-Ducky, then just Ducky, then Ducky Doodle, then Doodle Bug, then that turned into Buggie. Which stuck. lol We’re big on nicknames in my family.
