OMG I cant even…
My Fiance and I love each other to bits… And I told him that if my ring is more than 3k or anything much bigger than a 0.5ct I will make him return it. He wanted to make it custom an got me a beautiful 0.56ct solitaire and paid 2300 (talked them down from 2600) and I looove my ring. I told him that even if he was a millionaire i dont want a huge ring. Size of ring has NOTHING to do with feelings. Smh

I think she’s just jealous, if you love your ring then thats all it matters! 🙂

Lol JEALOUS much? Is she married too? If not, I can’t wonder why…
A girl I know asks to see our newly engaged friends their rings – and then she takes it off their finger without permission and puts on hers and goes “This wouldn’t work for me, it’s so small.” Well thank goodness it’s not yours, eh?

Lol, thanks ya’ll! I love my ring, and I love that he picked it out for me! She has frequently complained about being “forever alone.” Perhaps this may be why!

Hah!! Unbelievable! What a rude, ignorant person. Nevermind her, just laugh away! It sounds like your ring is absolutely gorgeous anyway. (not that this is the measure of anyone’s love and devotion!…not at all!)
I got a super ridiculous comment as well, back when I got engaged. My fiance got me an awesome ring, clear, one piece diamond, which cost him almost 10K. I didn’t even want it, and had warned him not to get anything, because in my culture nobody cares about engagement rings. It’s not our thing. Anyway, he got it in spite of my request – and as I was proudly showing it around to friends and family, this is one of the first comments I got: (from an old family friend) ‘What is this??! It looks like a cheap, 20-cents trinket! Doesn’t your fiance and his family have money to buy you a REAL ring?!….’
I was speechless! ….hahahaaaa
And she was being serious!
I can only laugh about it now, but back then it really made me mad. I wish people would just shut their mouths, if they had nothing nice to say.

I saw Nicki saying that on Ellen but you have to remember that celebrities have ridiculously stupid sized rings..mostly because I think they would be socially bashed if they had smaller rings by the public and their “celebrity circle.” Even the women who might prefer modest rings end up with fake looking rocks because it’s the social celebrity norm.

I think it looks like the perfect size on your finger! It’s beautiful. As long as you love it, who cares what she thinks. You are probably right about her being forever alone due to that kind of attitude!

I don’t think she was saying she’d return it because she had pressure from celebrity. I think she was saying she’s worth more than a half carat, and the audience agreed with her.

Wowww. How rude! Lol my DH must really “not love me,” because my stone is .31 carats! I hate that people think it’s ok to say things like that. Don’t take it to heart though, people will say whatever they want, but what matters is that you know your FI/DH loves you, and you love him, and your (I’m sure) beautiful ring is a symbol of that love. Bigger doesn’t equal more love.
