A friend of mine was visiting the other day and when I tickled Baby J’s toes she said “Oh, you shouldn’t do that, it causes stuttering.”
Say whaaaat??? Might be the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I’m pretty sure if tickling a baby’s toes causes stuttering, that would have been covered in our prenatal class, or in the parenting books I’ve read, or our doctor would have told us. Or something.
Anyone else been given “advice” like this?!

That is probably the singlehanded most RIDICULOUS thing I’ve heard! And Darling Husband has a slight stutter! I’m gonna ask his mom if she tickled his toes a lot! Oh man. Crazy.
Don’t put your arms over your head while pregnant because it will cause the cord to wrap around the babies neck.
Babies walking on tip-toes causes ADHD when older.

I was told to give my son a pacifier so he wouldn’t suck his thumb… cause you can take the pacifier away but not the thumb… WRONG. My son never had a pacifier and never sucked his thumb either. =D

You can’t cut a baby’s hair until their first birthday. Some people say it will ruin their hair and others believe it’s bad luck or something.
