chriso:  Hey! I love that ring! Does your lady like vintage type style? I wear lots of vintage and have always been attracted to unique style, but some girls are super traditional and only want a plain solitaire. My guy got me this ring, which I love, it’s from the 1940s and like you said it’s more about the unique design than being top of the line quality. For me that was perfect, but like I said, some ladies only like the super traditional look (which I think is a little boring).

Yikes, sorry it’s so out of focus- but you get the idea!

chriso:  No problem! I think in that case you chose very well. In addition to being a girl, I used to sell fine jewelry. I think you were smart to go with something that somewhat mimics the shape of a halo ring, but what you chose is much more unique. Halo rings are a super huge trend and will quickly go out of style, I think she’ll be very happy with what you chose. Congrats and good luck! (and good eye, it is art deco! you did your homework 🙂 )

chriso:  Very pretty! I will be honest, its not something I would pick for myself, but I’m very simple when it comes to my things. If she’s wanting something unique that no one else will have, this is definatley it! I’m sure she’ll love it!

I absolutely love this ring.  I love the milgrain around the halo.  I have never seen that before.  I think I will incorporate that in my ring.  You did a fantastic job!

“if you were a girl” 🙂 well I AM a girl and I think it’s gorgeous! If she likes to be a little bit different, have something that not everybody and their sister has and is into vintage or antique things at all I think she will love it too! I also think it’s really neat that you thought of her personality and shopped for something that would be more individually suited to her! Kudos 🙂 I also wear rings that are  vintage and not of the typical style and my favorite thing about them is that I have never seen them on anyone else!

I think it’s either a love it or hate it setting.  It’s too busy for me, but you know your girlfriend.  If you thought of her while choosing it, I’m sure she’ll like it.

chriso:  It is beautiful!! I love vintage/vintage inspired rings. It has history! My mom has a simular ring she has been wearing for the past 20 years. (thumbs UP)
