I love #3. I have a round brilliant, but set in my anniversary band for sentimental reasons.
I love #3. I have a round brilliant, but set in my anniversary band for sentimental reasons.
I love my RB! A hair under 1.5 carats on a platinum knife edge, size 5.5
After owning this beauty a few weeks, I’ve really come to realize it’s the cut that matters most in terms of sparkle and fire! This rock looks alive even in the dark because of the GIA excellent cut.
now for the obsessive collage:
I voted for 1 because it looks the most like mine! I will say, though I love my ring, I had a hard time finding a wedding band that “matched”. Make sure you consider what you want in a band before making your decision! Sometimes when I was shopping I wished I had a solitaire e-ring so I could have unlimited options with a wedding band. I actually ended up getting a plain band since I couldn’t find one with diamonds that I liked with my ring.

Good luck!

PS – Center stone is 0.6 carat and my ring size is 7.

I’m a fan of solitaires. You can’t go wrong with classics! Plus you can always make them snazzy with your wedding band or by adding fancy bands for anniversaries. Mine is a cushion cut moissanite solitaire. Its a 1.1ct equivilant and my ring size is 5.5
They’re all beautiful, but I’m a fan of halos, so I say #4! I have a halo myself, actually. The center stone is a .52ct cushion cut with cushion halo and a plain band. My ring size is a 6.5 🙂
I am a size 10 too. My Engagement Ring should be here in a week or two. I ordered it and haven’t seen it or tried it on, I can’t wait to get it! I really want this wedding band but I am waiting to get my Engagement Ring first and then I will see how they go together.
I voted for #1. I feel like it’s got a bit more presence than ring #2 which will probably look better on a size 10 finger. I also liked the profile view better than ring #2.
I’m a halo girl generally so that’s probably what I would’ve chosen if shopping for myself, but you said that you were leaning towards the first two rings so I just voted out of those two (I strongly believe in going with your gut).
I like #2 or 3 best…My only other advice for you would be about carat size. Im a size 9 and I felt like anything smaller than 2 carats looked too small on my hands.
I voted #2 because it has some nice bling with the side diamonds. I absolutely adore halos but I don’t know if since you have a bigger finger it is better to go simpler? I have no idea. Have you tried them all on? I guess that would be my suggestion 🙂
LilyBlossom: These are both so amazingly beautiful!
They are all lovely however I’ll vote 1. Very similar to two however I don’t like the bar that goes across the diamond on the side view of 2.
monthofsundays: I am sooo bias, because I love solitaires! Dang it! But as far as coverage goes, I would agree with the other bee’s that halos are the way to go! You could also look into multi-row rings, not sure if moissyco has them or not, hope they do! Just thicker bands with multiple rows of stones for more finger coverage! Halos are GORG and I just wish I liked the way they looked on me. I have certainly seen some gorgeous halos here on the Bee and on THIS THREAD!!! Girl go with your gut on this one! Especially with moissy, go big or go home! LOL just kidding… kind of.
Congratulations! And here is my girl! Sorryyy the picture is gigantic. Size 6.5 and 7.5mm (1.5 ct equiv) FB for reference! Good luck girl!
monthofsundays: my band has black sapphires. I love black- lol.
monthofsundays: Thank you so much!
monthofsundays: All of your options are pretty! I think it depends on your lifestyle… I love #3 because I like when diamonds stand up a little taller. If you want a lower profile ring so it doesnt get caught on stuff, go for the halo. Somewhere in between? Option 1 or 2 will work. If you also want the whole ring to look larger on your hand, go for the halo. Side stones will also help with that. Do a thinner band of you want center stone to look biggest (that’s what I did ) There are tons of options!
