Trying to figure out if I should get pillows for my two ring bearers. They are ages 3 and 5. I bought them cute ring security shirts for their gifts and to wear during the weekend. It has a police badge on it so figured they would find that cool. I feel like they won’t understand their duty if I don’t give them a pillow to walk with. What do you guys think? Should I get two or one and they could hold together ?

I had two ring bearers as well, and they each carried one ring. We used little dishes instead of pillows. One of my ring bearers was also 3 years old, and I do think giving him a very specific task of “carry this up to the priest” was helpful for him.

Two is not a bad idea. They can’t really both hold one – I think that would be awkward, and there might be fights about it or hurt feelings if only one gets to carry. You could put one ring on each. That’s what my SIL did.
