i need some honest feedback. i am having my 4 year old and 6 year old nephews as my ring bearers. my mom found these matching vest outfits similar to this link (but in shades of purple, my color) and wondered what i thought about them wearing these instead of tuxes. i’m having a hard time deciding if i want to stay with the traditional tuxes for them (a classic look i love!) or if matching colored outfits would look cute. i like that it would save my family money on two rented tuxes, but i’m worried it looks kinda tacky. looking for honesty! thanks

I think it is adorable and could work for my own ring bearer. Nice find

That outfit looks really cute and your nephews might actually feel more comfortable wearing that rather then a tuxedo since they are young. Although, It is your wedding and you should go with the look that you want to acheive.

Hi!I don’t think it’s tacky at all! My wedding will be in August and my nephews are extremely afraid of heat so if they had to wear a full suit/tux they will be sweating the WHOLE day.
So I will be going the vest and dress pants route or I’m really hoping to find a "short suit"!
This is from Crewcuts (Jcrew kids). I LOVE this and am hoping next season they come out with something like this other than seersucker because it doesn’t go with the rest of my party. But if not I’m taking this! I think my nephews will be super adorable in this and will be very comfortable as well!

We would like our boys to wear Eton suits, though my sisters aren’t crazy about them (and it’s their boys)…
I don’t think your choice is tacky at all, and probably more comfortable than a tux!

thanks everyone! i was actually surprised to hear all the positive feedback–i guess i just thought EVERYONE went with tuxes. there’s just something so cute about a miniature person in a tux 🙂 but i do like the uniqueness of the boys having matching colors with my wedding. i LOVE that JCREW outfit!!!!!
