My son carried our rings in a bible given to me by my grandmother… It’s a kind of an heirloom as it was used in her wedding over 50 years ago!

I saw another book idea where the couple took a copy of their favorite book, hollowed out some of the pages (using an exacto knife and gluing them together so it’s stiff) and hiding the rings in there. I heard it’s much easier for little guys to carry, since it’s large and they can grasp it.

@ReginaH: I actually got it on etsy! Pm me later if you want the seller’s name. I don’t have time to find it right now :o)

i hadn’t decided what to do…i’d like my son to hold our rings, but he’s going to be 2 and a half when we get married, lol.  was thinking about maybe doing a teddy bear instead of a pillow.

the rose-shaped box was a popular idea a few years back when i got married before.

@Mrs.tobe: so cute!!!!

Mine will be carrying a pillow that I made.  And, no, it’s not the usual ring bearer pillow, either!!!

Not the least bit frilly or lacey. ๐Ÿ™‚  My own design and hand-sewn (and a labor of love….and some hate, lol).

@Mrs.tobe: I saw that one on etsy- I considered something from her as well. (If it’s from the same lady I’m thinking) That box is super cute!

Here’s mine, a tiny jeweled treasure chest. FI’s favorite movie growing up was ‘The Goonies’ & he was obsessed with pirates growing up, so that’s kind of his tribute for our beach wedding, lol. In reality he could care less what we have our rings on/in & lets me choose whatever I want for the wedding, but I wanted something cute & unique- I showed it to him, turns out he loves it ๐Ÿ™‚

It was so hard finding something that doesn’t resemble a children’s toy when searching online, but this one is perfect. It measures about 4 inches long & I love the little rhinestones Smile

I’ve seen a lot of clay dishes being used. I won’t be doing this, but they are quite pretty and you can DIY them easy with a kit from a craft store.The dishes can also be used later to put the rings in while cleaning, etc.

I’m probably doing a small box because my wedding is a country/rustic theme ๐Ÿ™‚

Our wedding is literary-themed since Fiance and I are both teachers and both LOVE to read, so ours will be carrying two antique poetry books with the rings tied to a bow/ribbon on the books.

I think we will be using one single calla-lilly or maybe a calla-lilly and a rose and have the rings tied on it.

My cousin, 3 years ago used a rose and had it inside the rose pedals. All of the other ideas sound great though!
