One of my bridesmaids gave me a lovely ring bearer pillow, small. Only problem is that the large ribbon in the middle (cannot be detached) is a dark blue and the theme color is light pool.
I don’t think this matters much, but would it look ok? i really don’t want to spend more money.

You’re most likely the only one that will notice it, let alone think about it.

I don’t think that will be too noticeable if it is in the same color family, but if we were talking a difference of red and blue, maybe 🙂 I have the same issue with a lot of the details of my wedding too (which is 4 weeks from today!) but I have come to the conclusion that most of my guests probably will not notice the details that bother me. And I just don’t want to stress about that kind of stuff anymore.
If it still bothers you after a while, see about adding some light blue bling to it in some way, maybe smaller ribbons or rhinestones or something? There’s always some accent pieces you could add!
Hope this helps! Good luck!

I actually think it sounds better than having a perfectly coordinating bow. I never understand why people get hung-up in everything coordinating in color down to the most infinitesimal details….comes off too matchy-matchy. Real life has variation–it’s ok if your wedding details do too!!

Ok, good, glad to hear this. Because I really like the pillow, including the shade on the ribbon. i think it would compliment everything well anyway.
