Instead of doing the pillow, fiance and I are really interested in doing something alittle different and unique. So I am curious what everyone else did for their wedding.
Pictures would be great! Ideas great!

My ring bearer i carrying a barn wood sign saying here comes the bride. He would probably run away with the rings if he got a chance to carry them… Unfortunately it seems to be a popular thing lately 🙁

@PoeticDoveInLA: We went the pillow route, so I can’t help you there, but we did have my Nana sew on a piece of my Grandma’s wedding gown so that it was covered in white lace with the color peeking out. It was a nice way to have both grandmas involved, even if one is no longer with us.
What is the theme of your wedding? There are so many creative things I’ve seen on here, I’m sure that you’ll find tons of great inspiration and ideas. 🙂

We don’t really have a “theme”. We’re just trying to do “elegant” and not so overly traditional. I have a fear of the rings on the pillow being lost, falling off, and just bad luck from it.
So I am wanting something simple, but unique to where it would still be nice.
I was thinking about doing one of those see through sheef fabric bags (like a jewelry bag). But wasn’t sure how that would look or if that was tacky or whatnot.
I also liked how some bees did the book carved in to hold it, but honestly neither fiance or myself ever read books so that wouldn’t really be “us”.
We are big video gamers, so was wondering how to add alittle bit of that into our wedding without being cheesy

Our ring bearer will be holding our family bible with the rings tied to them…. its going to double as one of our guest books. We will be asking our guest to circle their favorite passages and signing their name next to it.

My ring bearer will be carrying our rings in a jewelry box. I’m buying an unfinished wooden box from Michaels and my grandma will be painting it. She’s an amazing artist. The best part is that I’ll be able to use it after the wedding!

My ring bearer carried a ring pillow. Unfortunately, I have no creative pics to share — just a cute one of my 3.5-year-old nephew (with his face cropped out of the photo) in his white tie and tails tuxedo!
ETA: I just saw your update about being concerned about the rings falling off. Our pillow had ribbons on which you could secure the rings, PLUS, I purchased look-alike stand-ins for our rings for the ring pillow, while the real rings were in the hands of the best man. 🙂

I do not trust a kid with the real rings. Nope! Not sure what we will have him carry but it sure as hell won’t be the rings!
