I have an UltraSonic. My Fiance gave it to me for Christmas and I love it. It does a really good job. He got it at WalMart.

ARgh, I’m sick and too lazy to get up and check right now, but I got mine at the store in the mall with all the little gadgets…I can’t for the life of me remember what it’s called. They have all kinds of electronic gadgets, massage chairs, and stuff. I think it was about $50.

Ha, I just said the same thing to Fiance and either he just get’s my quirky explanations or my description wasn’t so bad. He guessed on the first try. We bought it at Brookstone.

I just checked their website and they have one on there but it’s not the same one I have and didn’t get very good reviews. I don’t think these things get great reviews in general though because people tend to have different expectations. I think it’s more so to remove particles, etc. and works great on things like earrings, etc. too. I find that the steam cleaner is the real gem in getting the ring to sparkle. It does a good job cleaning and then it dries it to a spotless finish that you can’t achieve by letting it airdry or using a cloth.

The ultrasonic is on Amazon for $40  and it got pretty good reviews. If you want more info, I would check it out and read all the reviews. They are very helpful!

@2010bridetobee: where did you get your Steam cleaner??  That’s what I really want.   I clean my ring all the time with really hot steaming water and that works wonders!  But you’re right – there’s no substitute for the instant drying action of steam…

MrsK2be: It’s called a jewelry jet I think. I ordered it from some company I saw posted on the pricescope forums. It does a pretty good job.

Got the ultrasonic on Amazon during one of their pre-Christmas crazy sales for $20.  I highly recommend it.
