Is there a friend you can trust to drive Max home between the ceremony and reception?  I’m sure they’d be happy to do it, and that would probably be best for Max.

My sister is the one that is requesting her dog be my ring bearer! I had to laugh out loud at this post because I think about my sis getttin pissy that I don’t want her dog to be my ring bearer. I didn’t even really want a ring bearer at all to be honest…but to make my only sister happy, I just may give in to her wishes 😉

OMG!  im so glad i am not crazy……i also wanted my dog to be at my wedding,  wearing a floral collar…….as a bridesmaid.  and yes our ceremony is outside too so wouldnt really be a problem,  but we would be staying over at the hotel,  so it would mean my son would have to take her home,  and its a half hour drive,  and its not fair to ask my son to just pop out of my wedding for an hour.  when the wedding is over my son will be picking her up from our house to stay at his house until the next day when we get home.

I desperately wanted pictues of her and me,  with her draped in flowers…..so we are thinking the easiest way to do that is the day after….

my dog is the most placid girl you ever did see…….she is a blue German Shepherd and she hasnt got a nasty bone in her body,  she might lick you to death, but because she is a GSD,  people would not so willingly agree to her being around as they would a smaller dog.

YES! My TWO Yorkies are Flower Girl and Ring Bearer! I have not worked out the all the details. Except they are not going to be there the whole ceremony! They’re making  brief entrance and exit, and then going back to the hotel. We are getting married at an Inn and Spa and for a small fee $25 for both they can stay in the room. Someone will pull them down the aisle in a wagon maybe? I am trying to do it in the most elegant non country way possible.
