I love antique rings and I love halos, but I only want a single band.
here is the one that is way too much, its 5,000. And I agree it is too much, but the repo I want from Dazzling rock isn’t an option cause they have ignored my emails. I honestly dont care what type of stone it is, round, or square, both work.
I think total pacakage for ring, blue diamond(which has to be bought on its own) and the band is like 3,200 or so.
I really want a halo.
Hmm. I do see a difference between .5 and .7. The .2 difference is more apparent in stones < 1 carat. Get what you want, I don’t see that there would be an enormous $ increase. A jeweler might be able to make a setting similar to the one you like.
From Etsy Seller Rare [email protected]$1,156.00 for the setting only (no center stone)
This setting is a Tacori that has a “buy it now” price of 3k, so it might be out of your range if you can’t get them to lower it. But I think it looks amazing and wanted to include it. Seller is here
This semi-mount is from overstock.com and is 2k.
This is from engagmentringsdirect.com. Link HERE. It’s 2200 not including the center stone
What about something like this? These are semi-mounts, and you could contact a jeweler such as Amcor Designs or Schubachs, and they can get back to you with quotes, and I believe Schubachs has access to lab grown blue diamonds and could potentially be a one-stop shop for you. =)
Another option would be to check out some Etsy jewelers, and see if they would be willing to set a blue diamond for you in one of their settings. 🙂
I highly recommend Brilliant Earth, their customer service is excellent. I wanted a unique stone (light brown/champagne sapphire) and they worked with my fiance to get one for me, and it’s perfect! They have quite decent prices, this one is $1675 for the setting:
You might even consider an alternative stone, if you like blue. Here’s someone who did this with an aquamarine:
