So my Fiancee has picked out a wedding band he really loves, and as a present, I want to engrave something on it. Does anyone know anything about engraving? How much usually fits? How easy it is on titanium? But my real question is…..
What are some good ideas for engraving on the inside of the band for a Christian couple, such as a verse or meaningful song lyric, etc? 🙂

Before you get your heart set on something, you shouuld check with your engraver. Sometimes there is a letter limit. 🙂

Really cool ring, but ya talk to whoever will be doing it for you and see what the limit is.

I might be wrong, but I think only specialists can engrave titanium, so double check first.
The shortest verse I can think of would be I am my beloveds and my beloved is mine (Songs).<span style=”font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;”>

You don’t have to inscribe the whole verse either – just the reference will surely fit. My Fiance comes from a Jewish family and I found out that a traditional Hebrew engraving is: Mizpah (God watch between us when we are absent from one another). I liked it a lot when Fiance was still in the military and we were looking at multiple deployments. Now that he got out though, I may change it to something else. I like a lot of the options on this list from the Knot – many of them have Christian sentiments to them as well.

Those are good ideas…I think a reference is a good idea too…or one word. One important word between us has been “Hope.” Just like the hope we have in Christ….and our assurance…..it’s a really beautiful word anyway. I’ll check with the Etsy retailer. To see if he/she does engravings!
