I’m under whelmed by mine as well. It looks nothing like the Instagram videos that they have, or like the other bees post.

Looks great to me cristincline :  Give it a little time.

catkins :  Hmmm, there is something a little flat about that stone. I don’t know. Somthing off with the cut maybe?

cristincline :  I think it looks very pretty. Have you had a chance to check it out in different lighting conditions? Is the stone f1 or Moissanite Co stone and is it the regular cushion cut? It’s hard to tell from the pic.

Olivepepper :  it’s a forever one hearts and arrows, colorless. In some lighting it’s ok, but not most. I’m going to exchange it.

cristincline :  I think it looks lovely, but I will say, I think if you’re underwhelmed now, you will probably never be 100% happy with it as you should be. Be sure before you take that tag off!

cristincline :  The reason I asked is I used to have a regular cut C&C cushion in forever brilliant in my double halo. It’s the same cut ad the one you have but not as white and I hated the cut of that stone. The facets were completely not diamond like and I couldn’t get over it. I switched my stone to antique cushion and I absolutely love my ring now. My recommendation to anyone who is not sure they like the facets of the regular cushion is to get an antique cushion if you like antique cuts or to set a h&a round in the cushion halo so you get a diamond like look but still get the cushion like appearance from the halo.

Yeah, the moissanite cut considered most “diamond like” is a round brilliant. My best suggestion is that if you don’t love it now, don’t take the tag off. Wear it for a few days, and if your opinion doesn’t change, return it so you can get a refund. I’d hate to end up with a ring I didn’t 100% love. And if it turns out moissanite isn’t right for you, there are plenty of other options.

cristincline :  Your welcomed.  I believe that for anyone that is a true diamond lover and is familiar with cuts they really may not be happy with the regular cushion. I know I wasn’t. You also could do one of the new princess moissys or an asscher if you love step cuts and I’m pretty sure they cut fit one in to that setting. I know that they could do an h&a or antique cushion because those options I discussed with Chris prior to changing my center stone. Keep me posted on what you decide. I think it’ a gorgeous ring though,I really like the setting and the bands you paired it with, I also think it would look good with one band stacked on each side.

catkins :  I agree with exchanging it. If you are still on the fence with it and you have had it while now it very well be you got a dud.
