Here is my dilemma, … I have a beautiful engagement ring with I LOVE! He went out of his way to custom design it, so the band actually slightly curves. Because of this we’re getting my band custom made as well. So after looking around, I really want 2 bands, one for each side. The bands will be the same as the band on the engagement ring, so with the small diamonds, and will have to follow the same curve.
Questions: will this be too much? because all 3 bands will have diamonds (although they are small diamonds). I think I will at least have to have the 2 bands made as a ring guard, because of the curve in the ring they need to stay in place to sit flush. Has anyone else done this? I don’t want them all soldered, at least not the engagement ring. Can I just place the engagement ring in the ring guard and not have to have it soldered? And I’m worried I will regret having a ring guard as a wedding ring, rather than a classic wedding band.
Any thoughts and comments from those who have the ring guards will be greatly appreciated! Also, pics of yours too please!
