Did anyone opt to get a ring guard or an enhancer as thier wedding band? I know that I want a band for each side of my ring so enhancers are appleaing but it’s not a ‘wedding band’
Did anyone get an enhancer AND a wedding band? If you did, is your e-ring soldered into the enhancer? I tried a few on this weekend and one sales person told me my e-ring would be soldered into the enhancer…I’m not sure if I like that idea. Even tho I’m pretty sure I’ll always wear my e-ring and band as a set, there’s something about being able to take them apart and wear them seperatly if I want.
If you have a guard or enchancer, I’d love to see pictures as well!

I had a wrap and a band, because having a band to wear alone was very important to me, and I couldn’t find a band I liked that didn’t make my engagement ring look small and they all hit the prongs which worried me. I had the kind that only went on one side, as opposed to the two sided kind, and I didn’t have the soldered together…I actually ended up with 3 wraps because the first one never sat flush with my diamond (I had a princess cut before they became popular, so all the wraps I found were meant for round stones); the second fit but was too loose around the stones and couldn’t be fixed (which they didn’t tell me until AFTER the 30 day return period was up…long story) and the third I loved but traded in when I had my diamond reset after my husband passed away. I attached a pic of the 2nd wrap and my final wedding band (I had a LOT of ring drama, LOL); without the stone because all my pictures of my rings together accidentally got deleted 🙁 Sorry it’s so huge and my pinky is funky looking; I had it bent haha.
I received my wrap as a Valentine’s Day present from my hubby before we were married, so I wore it alone with the solitaire until our wedding day 🙂

The reason I never soldered them is because I liked the chance to wear JUST the solitaire with a thin anniversary band I had, forgot to add that. Plus, I was able to keep it when my wrap needed work done or whatever.

I have a enchancer that makes my solitaire look like one ring. I also have a wedding band. My solitaire is actually yellow gold but the enchancer is white gold and the set together looks like white gold. I didn’t tell anyone and everyone thinks its just a e-ring with a wedding band. I didn’t have it solder together because I wanted the option of wearing alone. Sorry for the bad pictures.

This isn’t exacly what you asked but… I have 2 identical plain bands that I wear on each side of my ering. Nothing is soldered. I simply put on 3 rings each morning. I could put on 1 or 2 instead.

My engagement ring is a solitaire and a wrap and I absolitely love it… It’s a princess solitaire with rounds in the wrap. I will be getting a wedding band also (probably 2)

Ive heard mine being called different things including jackets and enhancers. So Im not sure if this is what your meaning but here is mine!! The top and bottom bands are attached in the back and the ering goes inbetween the two. I will probably use it as my ering. I really like it because it keeps me rings from spinning.

Here’s mine. I love her.
Mine is not soldered, but fits perfectly. I did the guard + band. 🙂
The band is too big here (was about to be sized).
And then just the ring + guard (showing off nail polish lol)

everyone’s rings loo so pretty!
The more I think about it, the more I want the enhancer for my e-ring. The side of my ring isn’t completely flat, the setting comes out a bit so I thought if I had an enchancer I could have a band sit flush with that. I just don’t like the idea of having everything soldered together. I think when I’m in the US at the end of the month I’ll go to Zales again and ask if they can make the enhancer bigger to fit my ring and not weld everything together. The sale person said it would have to be welded in order to make it big enough to fit my ring…which is the only thing I don’t like.

I may not be of much help due to the fact that I just got engaged and I too am looking into wedding bands but I can tell you what my plan is and why.
I have a single solitaire for my engagement ring and I have a ring with 8 smaller diamonds(grandmothers ring so it means more than anything to me) that I will be having set into a lovely guard that my engagement ring will sit into. I will be doing a custom piece from a separate jeweler than where my engagement ring came from so due to their standards and the two separate lifetime warranties I will be keeping them separate. As far as having a wedding band as well as the guard I have decided against it seeing that I am pretty simple and I’d rather have something small like that after about 5-10 years to add to my set.
Here is my engagement ring:
now the side view:
And now the ring that I will be using the stones from to make my wedding band(s)
oh and I have a pair of diamond earrings(a little larger and given to me by my father for my 13th birthday) that are set in yellow gold which I never wear so I may be using those somehow too.
Hope some of this info helps you out.

Just received my custom made ring enhancer and love it like maddd. Because i wanted the option of wearing the wedding ring enhancer as itself, me and my fiance decided to do something different at the back of the ring. We have our initials in rose gold and diamonds so that i could be able to turn the ring around and wear it as itself.
Totally love love love this ring. Cant wait to finally wear it!!
