Well this is my first official post on here although I have been quietly reading the posts forever 🙂 I have just started looking at wedding bands and was wanting to get others opinions on this set that I saw today. My ering is a very pale morganite set in a “dainty” setting. I love the vintage feel that this wrap gives my ring I just don’t want it to look “gaudy”. Opinions please and feel free to post your ring pics 🙂

I think it’s too much, but that’s for my taste. If you love it, then it’s perfect. I can appreciate why you’d like it, even though it’s not my style.

If gaudy is not the look you are going for, then I don’t think you should get this. It is too much.

I would like it more if it was only one band per side, not two.
I think there are better ways to show off your stone then that wrap!

It seems a bit much to me, but it is lovely!

I think it’s too much — it almost makes it look like a cocktail ring. Your e-ring is BEAUTIFUL!! You don’t need that much pop! 🙂
If you like it though, then you should go for it!

I also think it’s a little too much and it takes awayfrom your beautiful solitaire. I just went through this process myself and picked a simple eternity band to go with mine. Here’s a pic. 🙂

Thanks for all the opinions 🙂 here is a pic of the ering by itself. Any ideas for a vintage like band that would highlight the ering would be appreciated!

@brittmcclure: I would look for a band that looks similar to your e-ring band..

@brittmcclure: All that business with the wrap kind of steals away from the dainty beauty of this ring. Are you married to the idea of a wrap / enhancer, or are you open to one band? We can go on a treasure hunt.

I would have never guessed your e ring was that amazing by looking at those first few photos. Is that a kite set asscher? What a pretty stone!
If you’re not set on the wrap, you could get something like this, which will pull from the band
If you wanted to stick with the triangle shape, here’s a plain band one
I wish I could find something exacty like the band on the ring. Is this an Etsy ring? Have you considered asking the seller to make you a matching band?

I am definitely open to just a single band it does not have to be a wrap. The ering is a kite set asscher. The ring is from etsy and she makes a plain gold band that fits it nicely I just wanted something a little more than a plain band. I could convo her and see if she could make a matching band with stones instead of a plain band….that is a good idea.
The problem I seem to be having with a plain band is that there is not enough of a dip in the band to not leave a huge gap. I am also open to rose gold and doing a two tone look but the band would have to be right I think.

Pretty ring, congratulations!
This ring or maybe two(one one each side I think would look amazing with your E ring : )

@brittmcclure: Your engagement ring is gorgeous!
I honestly think that wrap takes away from it, so much.
I agree! THAT band is perfect, brittmcclure!
Here is the link to it:
Also here it is in rose gold, which I think would be LOVELY with your morganite!

You may have to copy & paste the link into your search bar, for some reason it wouldn’t let me just click it!
