Wow! Oh goodness, who did the moving? Did yall pack and move the boxes yourselves? Or did you hire outside work.

Also do you have access to the house/apt you just moved from?

I am so sorry! This is horrible. As someone who has moved TWICE in the last 30 days, I would just try and get everything unpacked. Once you’re unpacked, they will turn up!

Good luck!

@BluegrassBunny: I agree. Once you finish unpacking, you may be able to find them.

I’m so sorry. I hope you find them soon.

Awww, that must be a terrible feeling.  Don’t lose hope, they will turn up.  We just moved a few weeks ago, and I misplaced all the paperwork from the lawyer.  I turned the house upside down, and couldn’t find them.  I eventually found them in the closet, in a paper shopping bag with 3 pairs of shoe boxes in it.  You’ll find your rings!

Oh you poor lady!!  Hang in there…I know it has to be rough.  Like the other Bees said, it will probably show up when/where you least expect it to!!  Just keep all the remaining packing materials you have not yet thrown out (I’m sure you already are!), like any newspapers you packed stuff in, bubble wrap, etc…I’ve nearly thrown stuff away when unpacking before and I know it is heartbreaking when something so important goes missing.  I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!!

I’ve had things lost in the process of moving that were very dear to me, and it’s always heartbreaking.  I’m hoping your rings will turn up.  What a sad thought… 🙁

Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry to hear that. 🙁  Whatever is left to unpack, just try to do so as methodically as possible (when I lose things I tend to “toss” a room, which makes it worse). And maybe extend it to room by room after, just in case the ring box was “set aside”.
