Newgirl87 :  very high setting over here. I’m also clumsy. Haven’t had a problem with it in a year so far

Are you designing a new e-ring, or more of a special occasion ring? I think 8mm is too high (for me) for an every day ring, but for a special ring that you’re more careful with, I think its fine.

This was one of the main issues I have with e-rings these days, I wanted a low profile one too! So many are set so high. I’m not particularly clumsy, but I hate the feeling of it [a high set ring] when I put my hands in my pocket or a drawer or whatever.

Mine got a little getting used to but now I don’t even notice it.

Mine is about 7 or 8mm high and it took a little getting used to at first, especially since I wear gloves at work, but now I hardly notice it (except when I’m staring at it, of course 😉).

Don’t know the exact height. But it’s high. I love it. I never bang it and really don’t even notice the height anymore

My ring is set as low as it possibly could be with my stone. It’s around 8mm. I do bump it on occasion but because of the design, the stone is protected and the setting is pretty sturdy.

My first setting (with the same stone) sat up much higher (10mm+) and it felt like I needed to take it off to do things. It also spun more because it was so top heavy.

mine is 10+mm high and have no problem with it. I have a desk job and homemaker (AKA doing all the house work) I take it off for doing dishes or something but I sleep in it ect. I’m a little clumsy and have banged it a bit (once a month or so when something crazy is happening).

Mines higher set than I originally thought I wanted but I don’t even notice it now. I love it and never knock it.

Newgirl87 :  my engagement ring has a height of 8.2 mm.

I’ve never had any trouble with my engagement ring catching on things  I actually have a lot more trouble with this RHR, as it has a lot of little prongs that get caught on everything (towels, putting hands in pockets, mittens, etc…). I think it’s much easier to deal with height than a bunch of tiny prongs

NEAM2014 :  WOW – I just LOVE that ring! Can I ask where you got it?
