How did you like the 1.5 ct? If it fit your finger, go with that size. If you think you can pull off bigger, go for the 2 ct. Maybe go to another jeweler to see if you can try on a 2 ct.

@chanellhelen:  See if you can find a 2 ct definitely then. It’s likely that the store would have a 1.5 ct too. So it should make it easier to pick.

But we could never tell you what’s the best choice for you, you’ll have to try it on. 

Sizes vary depending on cut, if you’re having a solitare or other design such as a halo…

I saved this photo from another thread.  If I remember correctly it shows 1 ct, 1.25, 1.5, 2 ct. on a size 6ish finger.  Maybe it will help you?

I am the exact same size as you finger wise, and I thought the 2ct looked too gaudy on my finger, so I went with a 1.5 and it looks great. I’ll upload a pic tomorrow, when I get my ring back from being repaired.
