Check out James Avery…tho i dont think they have diamonds..but it doesnt hurt to check them out. That is where i get my earrings and necklaces from because i to have an allergy to metals…my e-ring is platinum…and it was only 1800 (oh man that is alot lol) but the ring is soo worth it!

@judya64:Money towards a house vs a platinum mounting? You can get a simple platinum mounting for $600. It’s more pleasurable then spending it at the doctors office trying to clear a rash. Maybe you can try buying the diamond and mounting seperately or go custom. Good luck.

Does it help having it rhodium plated/dipped? Will that stop irritating your skin? Perhaps just getting it dipped frequently (or on a certain schedule once you start to notice your allergy flairing) will prevent it in the furture. *if you’ve already looked into that, I’m sorry. No help w/ the silver/platinum rings* Best of luck!
