So it’s been 2 years since I’ve posted and now I’m back on ring mode searching ;p
which of the two do you think would be great? I really can’t make up my mind. I love the two but don’t want to regret. I love halos because of the bling but I do also love solitaries because it’s classic and such a clean look. Lmk what y’all think and if you ever regretted a situation choosing something similar.
Solitarie details: it would be custom to be 3mm wide knife edge ( I love a thicker band ;p )
Halo details: it would be 2.5mm in thickness and the halo stones size would be 2.3mm
center stone woudl be a 1.5 (7.5mm) AGS 000 moissanite
here’s photos of the two 🙂

I voted Solitaire….it’s so beautiful!

Here’s my ring.. it’s lovely. Like you I was torn on if i wanted a halo for solitaire and came to these boards where it seems the majority vote is always solitaire. My fiancé also preferred solitaires and thought halos weren’t for engagement rings. I think I preferred the halo, but couldn’t make a decision about it alone. So I went solitaire. I’ve had my ring about a year and although I love it and it’s beautiful I do sometimes wish there were more bling that a halo would have brought. Go with your heart!! You have to or you’ll have slight regrets.

With a 1.5 center stone, it will be able to speak for itself. I also love the design of the solitaire… perfect 6 prong look.

I vote solitaire. I am personally not fond of the halo trend. I am also a sucker for bands with side stones.

I voted halo, since I like the cut of that ring and just like ring diversity (although I do think the band of the solitaire differs from the average white gold solitaire, so that’s cool).

I personally don’t like halos, so my vote is on the solitaire. You can pair it with so many other blingy bands as well.

I voted halo (my e ring has one), but I would not do the exact halo you posted. Maybe go for a more delicate one? I love the extra sparkle a halo adds!

I have an oval solitaire and LOVE it but of the two rings you posted I vastly prefer the halo. Go with the one you feel sad about not getting. Your ering is forever, you should get excited and feel thrilled whenever you see it on your finger.

I thought I wanted a halo for the longest time…because I liked how they looked from above. But I really don’t like the side profile; and it seems like hair, other things could easily get caught on it. If you want the best of both worlds you could get a hidden halo, that’s what I did! I also got pave stones so it’s more blingin’

hmm, I always preferred solitaire over halo. BOT if i do halo, itd be a seamless halo. No questions asked.

Naturally I’m voting halo.

The solitaire is beautiful but the band on that particular one is too thick/ too much metal for my taste. I’d want it a little thinner, but that’s just me personally. The halo is really pretty too, but once again, just a matter of personal preference I’ve never been a halo girl.

My vote is for solitaire of course !!!A halo wont ever give you the versatility of a solitaire. Halos are pretty but, there just something about a solitaire that is so commanding. Halos are gorgeous but, my eye is always drawn to a solitaire its classic. Its timeless. Go with your heart ❤️ You wont go wrong if you choose what your heart draws you too. Good luck both rings are gorgeous.
