(Closed) Ring in the swimming pool?

I have worn mine several times swimming…I don’t think it’s good for them, but I didn’t have a safe place to leave them at the time..

I think it’s fine, you should just rinse your ring off once you get out – I think if the platinum is exposed to chlorine a lot it can damage it. But as long as you rinse the ring off well, you should be good!

chlorine can pock the metal (not the diamond-thats totally fine) but it wont hurt it after just one swim, you’d have to be in the pool alot.  Your ring should be fine =O)

I don’t think it’s bad for the ring- there’s just the risk of losing it!

My guess is that platinum would be fine. Actually my ring never looked so clean and sparkly as after the hot tub!

As long as you at least rinse it to get the chlorine residue off afterwards you should be ok. Cleaning it would be best

I wear mine when I swim…my mom always did, too (we had a pool in the backyard back home) and it never hurt her ring. It could slip off, though!
