Diamonds falling out or cracking is covered by the store my finacee bought the ring from- I just have to take it in to get inspected every 6 months.

We had mine on our rental insurance with Liberty Mutual, and now we have it as a rider on our homeowner’s through the Protector Group.  Both cover both those things 🙂  I think it must be a pretty common aspect of any jewelry insurance policy!

We haven’t had to file any claims, thank goodness, but Protector Group is easier to work with so far. Hopefully nothing happens, but in the event it does, it’s so good to be covered.
