It’s hard to see the hammering detail at all in this photo I think

I think it looks perfectly fine tbh! I don’t see any unsymmetrical-ness.

runawayturtl :  glad quarantine hasn’t made me go nuts… yet πŸ˜‚ hopefully other bees can chime in and also reassure you! Even if there is unsymmetry in person, I feel like no one is going to notice cause your pinky and middle fingers probably rest against those spots.

I’d keep in mind that shadows are likely also playing some part in this. So while yes, you should definitely get your money’s worth and expect an impeccable product, I don’t think this is something to be insecure or overly worried about if it indeed is slightly uneven. But talk to the jeweler for sure! They can definitely help. It’s a stunning ring btw! I don’t often love east to west settings but this one is lovely!

I think I see what you mean but I don’t know if it would bother me since your going for that “organic” feel. Only you know if that’s going to bug you. But let me say that your set is gorgeous and unique and I think all the little quirks only add to the charm, just like putting mileage on your favorite car. Those little scratches and dings will accumulate over your marriage and that’s not a bad thing. Just shows all the years of love you’ve accomplished πŸ™‚

runawayturtl :  It’s not clear what the original look you had in mind, but the assymmetry would personally bother me. The left side in the first picture is noticeably different, almost as if it were damaged relative to the right side rather than deliberately hammered. It doesn’t look balanced.

I can see what you mean but I think it looks natural! Especially since different parts of the ring are hammered too. What beautiful rings!! 😍
