He didn’t realize he had his internet browser settings set to open all previous webpages from his last session so when I went to use his computer (I’d killed mine so we were sharing his) I opened the internet browser and all these tabs opened up and one of the tab said “Blue Nile Order Confirmation” =D so it was pretty obvious. I had no clue up until then though, and he only ordered my center stone off Blue Nile so he’d spent a lot of time searching for the setting in person. I still don’t know how he managed to do it since we live together.

Mine started acting really funny and seeing his mom a lot during the week ( she helped him pick it out ) and then the web browser thing plain as day.. But one weekend we were out on the boat and HE asked me to check his voicemails on his cell because he left it at home and his car was in the shop and maybe they called to tell him it was ready.. So I called his cell from mine and there was a message from a girl name Jennifer and she sais ” Hi this is Jennifer from…..”I quickly hung up and didnt listen to the rest because I had a clue what was going on but didnt want to ruin anything for him or myself.A week later after we were engaged he told me that Jennifer was from a jewellery store.

After we went ring looking his brother called him and he stepped out of the car to talk to him. I heard EVERYTHING! lol I felt/feel bad that I heard because he obiously got out of the car to have privacy. He told his brother that he put down a deposit and was really excited.

I found the ring box by accident- we had already planned a romantic get away but it was right after he was due his income tax refund, so I was NOT expecting him to have bought the ring for our get-a-way but he surprised me. On our get-a-way we went to go look at rings (to throw me off I guess) and when we came back to the hotel, I felt his pants pocket and surprising found a ring box in it. He proposed a few hours later.

I had absolutely no clue. And looking back, he didn’t act funny at all around the time that he ordered it either, except maybe he was “working late” a few extra nights.

I knew Darling Husband got the ring because he called me to say he was “on his way home from work”, yet got home in 15 minutes instead of the usual 30. He got off work early, bought the ring, and then called me when he was leaving from the jewelery store, not thinking about the time difference. And then we also got a phone call from the credit card company, wanting to verify the charges. I happened to be right next to him when he got the call, so it was a tip off!

He forgot to mute Skype (we are long-distance) while he was discussing shipping with them.  I just kinda figured it out from there.

I had no clue that he ordered it at all, but he made up a story about ordering a computer cable on eBay and every time he went to check the mail he was like “Man, I hope that computer cable is here!” I remember thinking it was a bit odd that he was so anxious for some PC accessory but I never asked for more details! Haha.

You said your friend *doesn’t* work there anymore??

I was going to suggest you get her to spy for you! She would totally be able to see if he’d come in and bought something!
