There is some serious ring p*rn going on here ladies.. love all the pics!
luckyladylaterinlife35: Girl, unload some here! You’ll always be able to look at them; let WB take some of the heat, haha!
catswa: Oh my gosh, I love the designer of your ring. It is beautiful! Is the center stone a sapphire or something else? Whatever it is, it looks awesome!
TwilightRarity: Yowwwwzaaaa girl, that ring is fabulous! Are those double prongs? Love it. Not only do you have model hands, but a model ring too! What is your center stone? It almost looks like it’s glowing–such an awesome shot.
Thanks for the tips! I think my Fiance has the same phone as you. I’m going to try with his!
CinqueTerre: Thank you for the lovely compliments! Yes, double prongs. My stone is a sapphire but a lighter periwinkle blue (I liked the purple blue of tanzanite when we first started looking).
Is your second band an eternity? It’s beautiful. We’re on the hunt right now.
kp2kc: Please do! And then come back to this thread and post them! 🙂 There is a feature on that phone that when you click the area you want to focus on a little bar appears that has a lightbulb and then a line with a plus to the right and a minus to the left. This allows you to adjust the amount of light being let into the shot so you can get some neat shots of the facets of your stone using that tool.
TwilightRarity: Yesssssss, I LOVE sapphires. My ering is a sapphire and I am absolutely in love with it. I too loved tanzanite when we were looking (I still do!), but due to its hardness we quickly gravitated to sapphire and boy oh boy am I happy with our choice! Also, in response to your question, it is a half eternity, but it bugged me beyond belief to have to keep adjusting it all day long so this time I just had my jeweler solder it to the other band and I have to say, I am so glad I did!
Jeneexoxo: I remember your stone from the pastel fire thread, it is amazing! What vendor did you purchase it from? Unless you have super tiny fingers I think it’s much bigger than my stone, but gosh, the bigger it is the better you can see its facets….yummmm.
CinqueTerre: Thank you! I actually have no idea! I bought it from a lady on DiamondBistro who was selling her “back up” stone since OEC’s are no longer cut. She’s a regular on Facet Lounge so I figured she kinda knew her stuff.
It is really beautiful and I got a hell of a deal at $850. It’s huge. 10 mm and I have a size 8.25 finger so at least my big fingers won’t make it look as large as it would on someone rocking a size 4 finger. I was in the market for a 9mm (Like MrsSkeletonKey’s amazing OEC) but the stars just aligned with this one on the secondhand market so I took the plunge.
I love it in person. It looks gigantic in pictures. Sometimes I’m a little insecure about what others will think about the size but I just remind myself that I’m unashamed to have a moissanite and it was what I actually wanted. The cut is so perfect. I can’t wait until it’s set!
If there’s one thing you bees should know about me, it’s that i NEVER pass up a chance to post shameless ring pics
