I just don’t see enough heart-shaped stones to develop a taste for them. So that’s why I started the thread! For learning 😀

My Mom has a heart shapped stone and I think it is stunning. She’s had it for almost 40 years and she still gets complmented on her rings. 

That’s a bad angle, here is one I found online that looks a lot like her ring.

OP a lot depends on the setting. I personally think hearts can be very classy if done in a simple setting and not too large. I think one can think they can be costumy looking if they are too large. But it just depends on the person and personal preference.

@lulu_honey:  Hmmm I normally don’t like two different metals, but in this case I think it makes the stone really pop out! It’s weird.. it pops, but at the same time it’s soft and romantic. I don’t know if I’d like it for an engagement ring… but.. I think I’d actually wear that as a RHR! So pretty!
