Chimp86:  Thanks!!!! I didn’t have any say in choosing it! He did real good! It’s topaz with white sapphires for accent stones.

OP….. We are Emerald Twins. I also have a Oval Emerald. My Fiance picked out my nearly flawless emerald while he was traveling for business in Colombia, South America. It has a few small inclusions at the base of the stone. It’s a untreated natural emerald also set in a halo. I love it! We had the setting made in New York and I am still debating on the style of band I want to pair it with. I want to add two. Part of me wants to first have a yellow gold diamond eternity band that’s a bit more unique and then later add a white gold diamond eternity band that matches my engagement ring. What are you going to pair yours with?

By The Way Your ring is gorgeous!

I love that it’s not the typical diamond and very unique! Congrats!

lanvin19:  Thank you!  Isn’t it a shame that there are so few and poor examples (dull/lifeless) of emerald cut stones out there.  Love the uniqueness of our stones.  As a diamond enthusiast I like how the cut draws people inand is mesmerizing like a hall of mirrors; that the broad flashes of light catches people’s attention in a different way than the obvious flashiness of brilliant cuts.
