Anything will look beautiful on your hands, dont be too hard on yourself, I can definitely see something really pretty and sparkly suiting you, pears are to die for and a thin petite looking wedding band will look lovely, good luck bee

I think a long and thin pear or a skinny emerald cut would look great! Def go with thin bands, much more comfortable

I too have chubby hands.. But dont be so hard on yourself. Elongated cuts look best on our hards. Radiants, Ovals, Pears and Emeralds.

eirghan : Our hands really look very very similar! 😀 Your ring looks beautiful!
Thank you so much, bees! I was really afraid that the thin bands I really liked would look kind of lost on my hands. I am so happy I asked you! (And, to add a comment from SO when I told him the outcome of this post: ‘Thank those ladies, I would have gotten you a really thick band!’)
Thanks a lot!!! (For the record, normally my nails are longer and I war a lighter colour, but I made some universe-coloured cookies and my nails looked blue afterwards, so I had to shorten them and use a dark colour 😀 )
I’m looking so much more forward to getting engaged, now that I’m not horrified anymore that I choose a ring that looks terrible on my hands! Thanks bees!

aventurin : Another vote for the thin band on your hands! It looks more delicate and feminine, IMO. I think a pear halo with a thin band, maybe split shank as suggested by PPs, with a few wedding ring stacking bands would be so pretty 🙂 Good luck!
