Awesome!! Have fun. Try on lots of different styles! That’s how I figured out what I wanted. (Totally didn’t know what I wanted).

Ring shopping is so much fun! As for advice, I would say try on every style of ring they have. You may try on something you never thought you’d like but it could look amazing on your hand. I always liked round and princess cut solitaire rings but when I tried the round solitaire on, I HATED how it looked on my hand. So it’s good to try on everything!

Omg, I’m SOOOO excited for you 🙂 This was my favorite part of getting engaged! Good luck, it’s okay if you don’t know what you want, the ring will find you. Mine totally chose me, and not the other way around. Have fun!

@mg1363:  Try on a lot of stuff, and let him see it on you.   That’s what my Fiance said was helpful.  He also suggested a place like “spence” (not sure if you got that in the US, not sure where you are actually) but my Fiance took me there on wednesday and they have ALL the ring styles on display for people to just play around with (fakes obviously) but it truly was a blast, their customer service is awesome and we had the whole place to ourselves, what a fun thing to do in a snow storm when hardly anyone was out and about.

Good luck!!

My sweetiepie doesn’t want to take me shopping, but I’ve been shopping with my mom to show her what I love and she’s going go with him when he finally picks it out.

I’ve seen soooo many, I’m so glad I don’t have to make the decision because I love them all!!

Try on different styles. If you are thinking about wearing your engagement ring with your wedding ring, look at collections so you can match your rings.

Have fun!

That is so exciting!!!  Definitely try on everything in the store!  Even if you go in with an idea of what you think you want, it might totally change.  I had already picked out what I thought was “the one” and when I tried it on, it just didn’t look like me.  I also recommend trying the engagement ring on with a wedding band.  I knew I wanted on that matched and set flush.  I’m about to sound like my mom here but you have to pick something comfortable.  You can get the sparkliest ring in there but if it irritates the fingers around it, you won’t enjoy it as much.  Most importantly, have fun!!! and take pictures…:)
