I went to tiffanys (just for fun). And tried on diamond eternity bands with my ring. Maybe try that and see how you feel?  I still love your ring though. It’s so unique!!!!! (And my ring is a halo. Go figure)

Mrs.Camacho01:  will you have them both at the same time for comparison or do you need to send this one back ? Mine is not enhanced. I kind of wish I went that way…

I almost got that ring you have!! I loved it. We decided to go in a different direction though and I’m having a custom halo designed for my sapphire.

i love both halo options, but wanted to make sure you knew that with the first option, your band won’t sit flush, there’d be a slight gap.  With the second option it would sit flush. (At least thats how it looks to me!)

Personally I like a gap so I’d choose number 1. But really you can’t go wrong!

Mrs.Camacho01:  I think it’s gorgeous and personally prefer the look of a non-halo!!

I do think “shrinkage” happens – I have a pretty large stone but sometimes it looks not so big to me, until I see it next to a smaller ring. Same thing with my 4 pound chihuahua….she will start to look not so small to me and then I take her to the dog park and she looks micro! So it think it’s just a human eye to mind perception thing. But really, evaluate it based on what you see and how it makes you feel, not how it compares to anything else πŸ™‚

I agree go with your gut, only you can really know. also rings look soooo much different in pics online than in person. Do you feel happy when you see it every day in real life? If so, don’t fix what isn’t broken! πŸ™‚

I think the ring you got is beautiful. But if you have had your heart set on a halo I think you should definitely exchange it for the other. Or you may keep having doubts.

Mrs.Camacho01:  I’m a big halo fan so I understand where you’re coming from. But if there’s a little voice in your head now tIhat wants a bit more bling it is unlikely to go away and it will probably  grow louder over time. However I do think the ring as it stands now is beautiful! Decisions, decisions .

You’re solitaire is Beautiful, but I completely understand how you feel!  I have only been married for 2 yrs & just recently changed from a solitaire to a halo…LOVE it!

What happened is that we got my ring 1st before getting my diamond (BIG mistake).  I love my center stone, it’s a 2.01 ct cushion, so it faces up more like a 1.5 ct.  It’s an amazing stone, but feel like the ring setting did nothing for it.  It does’t help that I have LONG fingers & big knuckles, so as a solitaire my ring did not have the presence I thought it would have.  I kinda felt that way from the beginning, but didn’t want to hurt my hubby’s feelings especially after he dropped SO much $ on my rings.  I finally got up enough nerve to talk to the jeweler & hubby about it this past month (HE was not happy & I did hurt his feelings, SIGH). But he did tell me to change it to what I wanted even though he’s not a fan of halos.  I LOVE the finger coverage that I get from my new ring!!

I would DEFINITELY look at halos now, instead of later.  To be honest, my solitaire never really “grew” on me or looked any bigger….just smaller!  Hope that helps πŸ˜‰

Mrs.Camacho01:  I definitely say exchange it for the halo. When you wrote you sound like you’ve dreamt of a halo and want one for sure… Go for it!

Mrs.Camacho01:  your ring right now is beautiful! Classic! totally love it! But what ever makes you happy! πŸ™‚ I wanted a halo too, but thought about if I would really still love it later over the years.. That’s why I chose a solitaire.  All your options are great Though!
