There sure is! If we are talking an e ring, it could mean the difference between a spinning ring and a fairly stable ring. If it’s a band, it could mean the difference between slightly too tight to an ideal fit. Although this is all dependent on how you prefer to wear your rings.

victorialew :  Yes, there is a difference! When I got my engagement ring, it was a 4.75 which seemed to fit fairly well. Then when the colder months came, the ring constantly spun around and I could also take it right off my finger without any resistance! So I sized it down to a 4.5 and now it doesn’t spin at all, and it’s completely secure on my finger 🙂

Yes! I went 1/4 size up from what I should’ve gotten and it spins like crazy. I hadn’t really worn rings before and thought the 6 was really hard to get off, so I got a bit bigger and it made a huge difference. Thinking of resizing to a 6.
