Depends on your knuckle and the meatiness of your finger. Lol. Will it pull off, say, if you were removing gloves  quickly? Washing your hands?

Sounds like it’s probablt fine then. Also keep in mind how much your fingers swell and shrink depending on the temperature.

Your fingers also swell with heat. They also fluctuate sizesize  like weight does.

I had mine resized, but it came off when shaking a relatives hand. I was worried I had resized it too small because it felt tight, in July, in high humidity. Now that it is cooler, it is much looser.

I like my rings to be tighter than the normal person so that it’s ab it of a struggle to take them off.  But yours sounds fine if you don’t want it to be too tight.

My ring feels firm during the summer and spins like crazy during the winter! I had my finger sized during the summer which was probably lucky.

On top of considering swelling with heat and during sleep (if you wear your ring to bed), keep in mind that adding a wedding ring might make it feel tighter, as well.

Are your knuckles larger than the part of your finger where you ring sits?  It’s possible to need a larger size in order to pass over your knuckle, but once the ring is on your finger it can seem a bit loose and spin a bit.  You might consider sizing beads.

Technically, a “good fit” consists of your ring being relatively easy to slip on without a huge struggle, yet difficult to take off. There shouldn’t be a ton of movement on your finger to ensure it will safely stay on. But everyone has their own fit preferences. Like the PP said, you might want to consider sizing beads if your ring is loose due to larger knuckles.

My engagement ring was a tad bit too loose, probably because the actual band is a little thinner compared to the sizing ring. However, with my wedding ring (which fits perfectly due to the slightly thicker band despite being the same ring size), my engagement ring fits more snugly.
