My ring does the same thing. I was going to get mine done but the lady said since my hands get swollen with the change in weather not to. She said when you add the wedding band it would be fine. I haven’t had a problem with it slipping of. It is lose but I still have to twist it around to get it off. When my hands get swollen it fits perfect so if I would have gotten it resized by the slightest amount it would be really tight. I would say not to do it….. I would also talk to your jewler and see what they recommend.

My fiance purchased my ring at the store size 6.75. I thought it was a good fit but it was in the summer and when it got cold or my hands got wet it would feel really loose. If it feels loose during the summer when your fingers swell than its going to feel really loose during the winter months.

I hated how loose it felt. I got my ring resize to the next size down to a 6.5. It was the best decision I had ever made. I love how the ring fits on my finger now and when it gets cold its a little loose but not too loose. It only took like a week to get it resized. I hate having to wait for it but in the time being I just wore one of my other rings so that way my finger wouldn’t feel naked.

I purchased my wedding band at a 6.75 though and don’t plan on having that resize because its going to be sitting behind my e-ring so no chance of it falling off even if its loose. I’m not married yet. Our wedding is in July.
