I have 10 tattoos and I wouldn’t get wedding band tattoos.  Bad luck in my opinion.  Right up there with getting his name!  Bad JuJu!!!!  JMHO though lol!

I have been thinking about getting a tiny tiny heart or infinity symbol in either white or light pink underneath where my ering sits.  I’m not getting a wedding band when we get married (maybe in the future for an anniversary or something) because my Fi spent out of his budget to get me the ering I love and it is so perfect.  Anyway, since I’m not getting a wedding ring for a while I had thought about a subtle tattoo to mark the change from engaged to married.  I have several tattoos already, and fi would NEVER consider getting a tattoo so it’s not like we would be getting matching tattoos but I think the symbolism is sweet.  I’m thinking if I get such a small design in such a light color the worst that could happen is that it would disappear 🙂

@wrkbrk:  These are the matching tattoos that my SO and I got yesterday. We both work in the military and it is hard for us to wear rings there so we thought we would get this. We both got each others initials on the top and then til death on one side and our wedding date in roman numerals on the other. Not gonna lie, it hurt a lot lol. But it was worth it and even if it does fade over time we will just touch it up 🙂

Sorry but no, dont do it!!! The mere thought of ring tattoos gives me is horrible images of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s infamous ‘honeymoon movie’ and their train wreck of a marraige. Also I have seen a few in my time, and in 10yrs time they often look patchy, the lines become blurry and lose pigment

@wrkbrk:  I don’t like ring tattoos and though we never expect it to happen, if you split up one day you’re stuck with it.

@mrspinesol:  Canadian military and they have always allowed them. Just nothing about the collar line.

@bunnyharriet:  Yes but tattoos are a glimpse at who you were at that point in your life and what was important to you then. Not everyone has regret about tattoos even if they’re no longer into what it represents.
