is this the one where you dangle a ring on a piece of string over your bump and if it circles its a girl and if it swings its a boy? I might try this tonight

I’ve done it and it went CRAZY circling for a boy!! But we don’t know the answer to what we’re having yet.

I did this! And it was wrong! I did it like 3 times and each time it circled for a girl–and I’m having a boy!

I did this and it circled (girl) and then went back and forth (boy) meaning that I should have a girl first and then a boy next. I find out in SIX days what we’re having ๐Ÿ™‚

I haven’t done the ring test specifically, but I did do two similar tests using a pencil tied to a string (one held over my belly and the other held over my wrist).  Both tests said boy, but turns out I’m having a girl.  I was curious about how these sorts of tests work out for others!

The ring test, Chinese gender prediction chart, and morning sickness old wives’ tale all said our baby was a girl.  Yet, we know our baby is a boy-100% certain it is a boy.  I hear that the ring test has been right for a lot of people.

hmm this sounds fun to try, but doesn’t seem like it would have a lot of ability of predicting above chance (50%).

At least with things like “carrying high/low” I could sort of vaguely see how that might relate to male vs. female hormones…
