What do you guys consider “too tight” for your ering/wedding bands? I HATE when ring spin and I also can’t stand the “muffin top” thing. My ring can be difficult to get over the knuckle but once it’s on it’s comfortably snug. But a few people have told me when they first saw it (and oddly tried pulling it off me) that it was too snug and I would have to get it re-sized. Oh the joys of unsolicited opinions!
I’m sure if I ever get pregnant or gain 10-20lbs I will have to remove it but for now it feels fine. Does your ring spin? Should I really resize it now so that in the *future it fits? Here’s a pic – looks pretty normal to me.

I like my rings a little tighter… I hate spinning or feeling like my ring will fall off when I wash my hands. Your ring doesn’t look too tight (no muffin top!) and who cares if it’s a little hard to take off? If you ever gain weight and it gets harder to take off, then get it resized then…

I think if it doesn’t go on easily & you are pushing it up, it’s too tight.

Looks fine to me. I wouldn’t have it resized if I were you.
I’ve seen some rings on here that I’ve thought were too tight because of the “muffin top” thing you mentioned. I know one of my older pictures of my rings I have a bit of a muffin top, but my fingers were swelled the day I took it, which happens quite often. But, when my fingers aren’t swelled, the rings fit perfectly, no spinning and moderate difficulty getting them over my nuckle.
However, I’ve just taken my rings in to be resized, because I’ve lost a significant amount of weight since our wedding. My rings were spinning and I found myself pulling them on and off all the time because they came off so easily. I was afraid I was going to lose them, if I didn’t take them in, even though I’m planning on losing more weight.
By The Way, your ring is beautiful!!!

Mine spins and gives me the muffin top. I can’t win. Your ring looks fine to me!

@mepayne: 1+, annoying isn’t it?
@mousepeach: Mines spin during cooler temps and muffins up in warmer temps. I think it also depends on the extra meat/fat/skin/anatomy what ever you call it, of each and every ones finger. I too, hate the muffin look on my finger but jeweler did not recommend me going any size larger. By The Way, yours look fine. They’re are being overly critical.
