Rings and fitted gloves?

I remember the first winter after I got engaged trying to put gloves on and laughing when I couldn’t get them on bc I never imagined the problem. My ring has a high setting and I always wear it, so I opt for those “magic gloves” or a loose fitting suede and cotton pair when I wear my dress coat.  Even with the suede ones, they fit better if I put my diamond on the inside of my hand instead. Such problems, right?! Lol

This was actually my first ring functionality issue- trying to put on my fave fitted gloves! Maybe I can stretch them to fit the ring better? Leather is quite maleable- I know to stretch shoes you put them on with thick socks and heat with a blowdryer then let cool on your foot…. Maybe that’ll work?!

I do wear mine under gloves but my ring does not sit too high.  I mostly alternate between my leather gloves that are form fitting (just a tad loose), but still fit my ring fine, and my leather/spandex gloves that are very form fitting but the spandex part allows my hand to go in and out easily.

my ring sits high and is a pear so it gets caught often. I usually take it off, put it in its box, and keep it in my purse until I take the gloves or mittens off.

I just bought gloves today and my first consideration was whether my ring would catch on the material. I just wanted something simple and comfortable…nothing fancy. My ring sits up high and I found a pair of gloves that I could wear with anything, especially my ring. Slides on and off easily with no catching on my princess diamond.
