I would wait you should be/will be losing baby weight as the months progress.

My rings didn’t fit until my daughter was 3-4 months.

I couldn’t get my rings back on until about 2 months postpartum, and they’re still tighter than before (at 5 months).  It’s not the extra baby weight, it’s because your joints are still swollen from hormones, especially if you’re breastfeeding.  I’ve heard that it can take the better part of a year to go back to normal!

I was going to ask, if this is simply your wedding and/or engagement ring we’re talking about here, can you see if they’ll fit on your pinky for now? (I didn’t really have the “ring not fitting” problem post baby, just in the last week of the pregnancy, but that’s what I did with my e-ring when my fingers started swelling. I didn’t have a chain to put on it around, and I didn’t like the idea of going ringless altogether. But if you’re comfortable going ringless altogether till the rings fit again, that’s up to you.)

@Moderate Mouse:  I wore my rings on a chain around my neck and bought a cheap silver stand-in wedding band in a larger size to wear during my pregnancy. My fingers swelled up almost 2 whole sizes (but they wouldn’t have fit on my pinky without sliding off).
