We bought my fiance’s ring from Zales.  It shipped from the US, but took a little while to get here, maybe 10 days.  No problems with it.  He was so picky, it was the ONLY ring he liked out of about 20 stores.

VintageGirl1020:  +1!! So many better places to buy from in terms of quality and price.

VintageGirl1020:  I don’t think Zales is terrible. Can it be overpriced? Absolutely. Is it the best place to get a higher quality diamond if that is important to you? No. But my ring came from there (not the diamond, though) and it’s been great for almost a decade. Lots of small diamonds and they’ve all stayed in place without any problems, and it’s beautiful. I get compliments on it all the time.

My ring is from Zales.  My husband had a good experience ordering online from there.  It was an inexpensive ring and we got it for less during a black friday sale.

Do some comparison shopping.  Check out Blue Nile and James Allen as well.  If you fall in love with a ring from Zales, that’s what you fall in love with.

I would for sure try an online store before zales. My fI got from James Allen and my ring is perfect, plus a lot cheaper if he had gone to a chain jeweler!

You can read many boards about zales and other chain stores. My rings are from there. Yes, I paid too much Im sure. However I like the warranty that I have with it. Good luck and pls post an update when you get it!!!  Heres my set.

And it is beautiful! I hope you’re thrilled! It is very elegent and feminine.

Don’t listen to the naysayers. I’ve been wearing my mall jewellery store (Kay’s) engagement ring for over 11 years and it is still perfect! Plus, with the added lifetime plan Darling Husband got with it, I’ve had it sized twice and redipped several times for free. I also stop by to have it cleaned every time we visit the mall.

My ring is from Zale’s and I used to work for them and Kays years ago. I’ve never had any issues. However, I don’t use their protection plans or have my ring sent out through them.
