Either a 1.5 ct Tiffany solitaire or this bad boy:

I like round solitaires but if I were to go with something 2 carats or bigger I’d do an oval or an emerald cut.

I actually prefer london blue topaz (which I have) and tanzanite over diamonds honestly, so I would still want a ring similar to the one I have. I’d just do a fancier ring. This cornflower sapphire ring is perfect:

This one is also beautiful:

But honestly, I’m super happy with my $500 ring smile

As I’ve got but just a bit bigger on the carat. From 2.4 to 3 maybe.

I wouldn’t swap it though!

id definitely go for more old cuts and stacks for rh rings.

I already have a just under 2 carat round diamond ring. But seriously, if money were no issue. I would have chosen a monster oval diamond in a classic Tiffany setting. Like 5-6 carats. And a gorgeous eternity band to go with it. A girl can dream, right?

I have a princess cut solitare as my ering. While it’s fine, the cut wasn’t my first choice. My dream cut would be a pear shape!

2-3 carat round Tiffany solitaire in platinum with the Tiffany Jazz alternating band ring for when I don’t feel like wearing the diamond.

I’m very plain Jane, so as much as I love a lot of bling on others I don’t like it so much on me. I loved Khloe Kardshian’s set, but I don’t know that I could wear that every day.

For me I think I’d just want the best specs on it so it’d be super sparkly.  Not a huge honker because my fingers are too small 🙁

We were poor college students, when we got engaged – with no ring. My grandmother felt sorry for us and gave her 1/4 carat center engagement ring (that no longer fit her arthritic fingers), to my fiance to give to me. I frankly didn’t care that I had anything, but my grandfather had been a very beloved person, in my life.

Years later and we could have afforded to upgrade, but I prefer the sentiment and love, of my initial engagement ring. We’ve been happily married, almost 40 years.
