I’m not engaged yet.. But I think if cash wasn’t an issue, I’d be keen to rock a large, extremely well cut, F VS1 (even with oodles of cash, I don’t think my mind could come around to a D IF!) round solitaire in a gorgeous hand forged setting.. Maybe a 2.5ct – 3 ct?

I’d still want what I got; I’ve never found a ring I like more.
I could be tempted to have it made in platinum (it’s 9ct White Gold) with a near-perfect diamond though.
Part of the attraction was the price as I have a horse so I’m not necessarily gentle on my jewellery, but I love the style too.
