Hello bee! I have a little over 1 ct pear shaped ring from the Neil Lane collection at Kay Jewelers and I absolutely love it! My ring size is 8.25 and I think it fits nice on my finger without looking too small or too big. It has a double halo around it which I love because it adds alot of sparkle. I get compliments on it everywhere I go, and it always puts the biggest smile on my face. The pear shaped diamond makes my finger feel slimmer than it is. They have a BEAUTIFUL pear shaped ring on James Allen that I recently fell in love with, and if we would have seen that before buying this one we would have gotten it! We have had terrible problems with Kay’s, so whatever you do, don’t buy from there.

I don’t have anywhere near the ct size you’re considering but I have a 8.5 finger and a 1.3 ct princess

Mine is a 0.7 on a size 8 finger. Smaller than what you are going for but still big enough for me.

If you go to diamdb.com you can plug in different stone shapes/sizes and visualize what they look like on different sized fingers. You can also do a side by side comparison of 2 stones on the same size finger. (It’s intended for diamonds but so long as you know the dimensions of the stones you’re looking at, you can make it work for other stones.)

You can also buy cheap costume  jewelry in the same size stone you’re inking about to try for size. When I was e-ring shopping I bought a few cheap CZ rings from amazon to help me decide size/shape.  It’s really hard when you can’t try on the rings in store!

I will see if I have any pics from when I was trying on the costume rings. I wore a 9 at the time although I wear an 8 now.

Hi there I’m a size 8 and I always thought 2ct would be the perfect size for me. I was curious and wanted to see if I could pull off 3cts so I bought a cheapie ring from amazon and I love the size on me. I hope these pic’s aren’t too big.

I have had a few different diamonds over the 8 years of marriage and my favorite is my current, which is my PEAR!!!! I love it sooo much. I wear a size 7 so not quite the finger size you’re looking for so I wont post a pic, but I have a 1 carat pear. I love it. I would die for a 2 carat pear, but I would die for a 3 carat round too lol. If I had to choose I think I would choose the 2 carat pear because I love them so much. I sure hope you share with us what you get. best of luck! I am gonna follow because even though I don’t have a size 8, I still have larger size fingers compared to the norm onn WB 🙂 plus im hoping to see more pears.

Not quite the size or shape of the stone you’re looking at but I’m a size 8, .8 OEC round 🙂

I have size 8 fingers and this is a 2.6 center stone (equivalent – it’s morganite) on my hand!

Size 8.5-9, .25ct. I wanted a wrap for more finger coverage and I think it makes my center stone look slightly bigger.
