FWIW, I love my cathedral setting, even though I work in a lab with gloves all day!

sporting:  nope. Gloves go over it just fine. The ring turns to the side a bit, but that doesn’t bother me at all.

Here is mine. Originally, I did not want a catherdral setting or anything high at all. Thank goodness my fiance took me ring shopping before we go engaged, because it turns out I love everything I said I hated, including the catherdral.

@sporting Thank you so much!! I just measured it and it’s about 7.5 or 8 millimeters high from my finger to the top of the diamond. I actually don’t feel like it’s too high. It doesn’t really get in the way.
