So my setting worries me with my daughter. It’s pretty tall and a marquis and I don’t want to scratch her. My grandma recently gave me a gold band to where which I love but I would like to get a blingy band or something to stack with it. Or I thought about having my ring bezel set but I really love my set and would rather leave it alone for after she’s not a tiny baby anymore. I thought about getting a “mother’s ring” with my birthstone (Blue topaz or turquoise) my husbands/our wedding month (Opal) and her birthstone (Citrine) because I think the gold, blue and opal could look really pretty together and they tend to be pretty inexpensive. Or I thought about just trying out some berricle styles and switching it up? Or getting a moissy. Show me your “baby” safe/gentle settings. Or do some of you just go ringless? Here is a pic of my sweetie. I can’t believe she’s 4 months old already!

Just came to see the baby!

oh she’s a cutie! And we have those same month placards lol. My daughter is 8 months old and I wear my high set emerald cut halo around her all the time – I haven’t scratched her yet. Unless your ring spins a lot it’s pretty unlikely that you’ll awkwardly back-hand the baby!

I’m also just here for the baby – what a cutie pie!

I have a pretty low setting and I’ve still nicked my little guy once in awhile. I think as long as you’ve got a chunk of metal on your hand, size doesn’t matter that much. For the most part I just don’t wear them at home (didn’t pre-baby either).

Aww thanks guys!
I think I am more paranoid because of the pointy end of the marquise.
I never wear my rings at home. But I take baby to work with me. So I would like to wear something. I was thinking about like a channel set band or something so it’s a bit less pointy.
I might just find some fun ones on berricle and switch it up.
